In recent months readers of the KSHN Radiogram have quoted our newssheet as if it was the full story. We should remind them the Radiogram was created 25 years ago to encourage listeners to our full-length newscasts on the radio. The Radiogram began long before the internet and is delivered daily, in Liberty and Dayton, to more than 100 local stores, offices, restaurants, and the hospital to urge readers to listen to KSHN for more details. Soon we hope to   load each full story on-line. Meanwhile, we urge Radiogram readers to tune to FM 99.9 for more details. Full-length radio newscasts are on KSHN Monday through Saturday six times. 6:30 AM, 7:45AM, 10AM, 12:15 PM, 5:00PM, and 10:30 PM. Weather is hourly and local news headlines are also on but more details are only on those six times.

Search: While the search for missing Dayton man Gene Roberts continues, it has been scaled back some due to the rise in the Trinity River in the search area. Dayton Police Chief Pete Douzat said Texas Equui-Serach has pulled out their horses and ATV’s from the search area for now, while the river remains high. However, Chief Douzat said searchers on foot with tracking dogs and in boats continue to search for the missing man each day, during daylight hours. Gene Roberts went missing Sunday afternoon in the back waters of the swollen Trinity River while helping friends move cattle to higher ground.
